Nicole Tiley, Head of School

Sheila Stevens, High School Principal

Renae Roth, Middle School Principal

Mrs. Renae Roth is the principal at CPA middle school. Renae has been working with K12 for the past five years and has also taught high school English. Renae earned her BA in English, with an emphasis on secondary education, and her MA in Educational Media at the University of Northern Colorado. She most recently earned her Educational Leadership License through Colorado State University-Global Campus.

Sarah Schuchard, Elementary Principal

Mrs. Schuchard is the Elementary Principal at CPA and is proud to have been at the elementary school since the very first day in 2013. She has been in education for over 15 years and holds a Master's degree in curriculum and instruction.

Kimber Podsedek, Operations Manager

Ms. Podsedek is the Manager of School Operations for all three Colorado schools. Kimber has been with K12 since 2007. Before her role as Manager of Operations, she worked as a high school advisor. She loves working with all our wonderful staff and families to support all the different learning options our schools have.

Lisa Balagat, Assistant Manager of Operations

Lisa Balagat is the Assistant Manager of School Operations for all three Colorado schools. She has been with K12 since 2013. She has worked in education for nearly 30 years in many support staff positions from classroom assistant, attendance clerk, counseling secretary and registrar.

Stacy Altman, Director of Special Services

Stacy Altman is the Director of Special Services for CPA and PPOS. She joined K12 as a special education teacher in 2005 and has been working in her current position for 10 years. She brings more than 22 years of experience in education. Stacy earned a BA in Psychology and a master’s degree in Special Education. She holds multiple certifications in special education.

Julie Casten, Family Engagement Administrator

Mrs. Casten is the Family Engagement Administrator for CPA and PPOS and joined the K12 family in 2014. She brings more than 8 years’ experience in education, community service, school start up, family engagement and support. Julie earned a BS from Colorado State University.

Sharon Seymour, K-8 Registrar

Mrs. Seymour is a K-8 registrar who joined the K12 team in 2015. She previously temped with K12 before being hired on permanently.

Katherine Proano, High School Registrar

Mrs. Proano is a high school registrar. Before working at K12, she was an instructor teaching Literature, Computer Tech, and was an award winning Yearbook Advisor for numerous years. Katherine’s prior work experience includes 15 years in banking and finance. She worked in Denver as a securities trader, working with NASDAQ and New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) stock markets and she holds a Series 7 license.

Amy Baranco, Truancy Officer

Mrs. Baranco is the Truancy Officer at Colorado Preparatory Academy, she joined K12 in 2014. Amy brings 8 years in child care and education experience. She started at K12 as a part-time Family Support Liaison and worked her way to Family Engagement Coordinator at Idaho Virtual Academy before transferring to Colorado as a Truancy Officer. She has served on several committees including: Safety Committee, Professional Development Committee and part of the Habitually Truant Committee.

Mary Lou McNatt, Enrollment Coordinator

Ms. McNatt serves as the School-Based Enrollment Coordinator with our K12 schools in Colorado. She has worked for K12 for the past thirteen years. As a graduate from Regis University with a Master’s degree in Nonprofit Management she enjoys working to support online schooling.

Melissa Carpenter, Testing Coordinator

Melissa Carpenter is the Testing Coordinator for the Colorado K12 schools. She joined the K12 team in 2014. She was most recently the electives high school teacher for Colorado Preparatory Academy. Melissa earned a BS in Physical Education from Clearwater Christian College and a MS in Sports Management from Missouri Baptist University. She is currently working on completing her Principal License from Colorado State University. She has 14 years of teaching experience as a PE/Health teacher in the private and public school settings for K-12 grade.

Teree “Susan” Wall, Office Administrator / Special Services Registrar

Ms. Wall works for K12 supporting the three K12 schools in Colorado (CPOA, PPOS, CODCA) as the Office Administrator and Special Services Registrar since 2008. She has more than 40 years’ experience in office administration and education fields. Susan holds certificates in business management, early childhood education, and holds a CNA Associates Certification. She has embraced multiple positions while employed at K12 Operations and currently supports the special services staff obtaining special services records as the special service registrar.
