College-Bound and Career-Ready at Colorado Preparatory Academy: Congrats Class of 2025
On Tuesday, May 21, 2025, the Colorado Preparatory Academy community came together at the Colorado School of Mines in Golden to celebrate a powerful milestone: High School Graduation.
For students who completed their education virtually, this in-person gathering was a well-deserved opportunity to cross the stage, meet teachers and peers face-to-face, and mark their achievement alongside their family and friends who supported them throughout their educational journey.
The Colorado Preparatory Academy Class of 2025 reflected the school’s commitment to preparing students for life after high school. Of this year’s graduates, 132 will continue on to college, attending both two- and four-year institutions. 66 students have secured job offers or confirmed career plans, and six graduates will be entering military service. A group of 10 students graduated early, a testament to the personalized pace that Colorado Preparatory Academy’s online model made possible

The graduating class earned 10 industry-recognized certifications and an impressive 758 concurrent enrollment college credits, giving many students a significant advantage as they transition into higher education.
Among the celebrated graduates, Hunter enlisted in the Marine Corps, demonstrating a strong commitment to service. Students India and Alliya were selected for the ASCENT program for the 2025–2026 school year, allowing them to pursue college-level coursework tuition-free while still receiving support from their high school.

Several graduates have already stepped into careers with employers such as Amazon, Veterans Affairs, a local fire department, and BNSF Railway. Others earned admission to colleges and universities including the University of Colorado, Colorado State University, University of Northern Colorado, Texas Tech University, Western Governors University, Red Rocks Community College, and Front Range Community College.
Though Colorado Preparatory Academy students came together from all across Colorado and pursued different academic paths, they shared a common experience. One rooted in independence, resilience, and a commitment to learning in a digital environment.
