CPA Team Headed to the K12 Robotics League Championship

School Announcements
finalist k12 robotics league

Representing CPA in the 4–6th grade category is Team Maverick:

  • Owen, 6th grade CPA student
  • Macy, 6th grade King Elementary student

The road to the finals included three virtual rounds: a friendly exhibition round followed by two competitive qualifying rounds. In each round, teams programmed their robots to complete in timed challenges with speed and precision.

Team Maverick placed fourth in the first-round qualifier with a time of 00:10.533 and came back stronger in round two, grabbing second place with a blazing 00:20.049—securing their spot in the championship finals.

Team Maverick will join the top three teams in each grade band, 4–6, 7–9, and 10–12, to compete for the national championship title. In the final in-person round, these finalists will bring their skills to the real world by coding physical robots on a competition mat.

It all comes down to this: one day, one challenge, and one chance to become national champions. Winners in each grade band will receive $500, a K12 Robotics trophy, and the title of national champion.

We’re cheering on Team Maverick as it gets ready to represent CPA on the national stage! With the big day in Virginia just around the corner, let’s show our support and celebrate everything this team has accomplished.

Go, Team Maverick—we’re rooting for you!
